Dentures aren’t your only restorative option if you’ve lost most or all of your teeth. “Teeth in a Day” is an effective alternative, one that can give you the full functionality of your original teeth with none of the irritation or slippage common with a traditional prosthetic. With this treatment, millions of people have benefited from a permanent, stable, and natural-looking smile.

Clagett Periodontics offers Teeth in a Day to Kentucky patients who are considering dentures or who are unhappy with the dentures they have been wearing. Using this approach, we are able to give patients a much better quality of life by restoring their dentition, letting them eat the foods they enjoy, and making it easier for them to share their smile.

Patients trust in Dr. Clagett because of his consistent care and unique interest in their oral health. This friendly, yet professional attitude is reflected throughout all aspects of Clagett Periodontics.

How Teeth in a Day Works

Teeth in a Day uses dental implants to anchor a set of removable, snap-on dentures. This keeps them in place as you chew, smile, and speak. Dr. Clagett has performed the procedure for many patients who wanted more durable and attractive teeth.

Patients who are considering Teeth in a Day have often spent thousands of dollars on failed dental work. Many have nothing to show for it except a bad experience and, in some cases, a provider who blamed them for the poor outcome.

If you’re like most of our Kentucky patients, you’ll find working with Clagett Periodontics to be a supportive, friendly, and straightforward experience. When you come for a visit, Dr. Clagett will learn what you want to get done and talk with you about your options, which may include Teeth in a Day. Through advanced treatment, he and our staff can provide you with a permanent solution, one that gets you out of the cycle of spending money on dental care with little to no benefit.

What to Expect With Teeth in a Day

In-Office Assessment

During your initial consultation, Dr. Clagett will perform a comprehensive examination of your teeth, gums, and dental structure. While most people will be good candidates for Teeth in a Day, his evaluation will ensure that patients have enough underlying bone to support implant dentures.

Planning

After you decide to have treatment, Clagett Periodontics will create your provisional dentures. Dr. Clagett will plan your Teeth in a Day surgery using special software, and he will have templates produced that will guide the procedure. These steps will speed up the surgery and improve the accuracy of your results.

Procedure

To provide you with Teeth in a Day, Dr. Clagett will:

  • Give you IV sedation so that you can rest comfortably throughout the surgery.
  • Remove your old teeth to make room for your new teeth.
  • Place your dental implants and connect the provisional dentures to them.

Kentucky patients will leave their appointment with a complete set of teeth. It will take about three months for the implants to heal, so we advise patients to stick to soft foods for at least the first two months.

Your Permanent Teeth

After three months, you will return to Clagett Periodontics, where we will exchange your provisional teeth for a permanent set. This will complete the treatment, at which point you can enjoy your new, natural-looking, and fully functional teeth.
