Our team understands the importance of giving back and the impact our actions can have in our community. The Clagett Cares Giving Initiative was created in April of 2019 with the practice goal of donating $1,000,000 worth of services and monetary donations by 2027. Every month, our practice selects an organization to raise money for in our local community. We have had the honor of supporting local groups such as the Hardin Memorial Hospital Cancer Center, Elizabethtown Police Foundation, and Silverleaf Kentucky Sexual Trauma Recovery Services. All of this could not have been accomplished without the help of our loyal patients!
Derby City Dental Specialists donates the fee from every exam in total towards the charity of the month. We are also proud to participate in our neighborhood program, Nickels for the NICU. For every fluoride treatment performed, $5 is granted to Hardin Memorial NICU to purchase Halo Sleep Sacks for babies in the NICU.
We are always looking for new opportunities to give back and participate in charitable events providing services to those in need. We are committed to bettering Elizabethtown and our surrounding neighborhoods. This is why, every year, Derby City Dental Specialists chooses to sponsor a patient for a free or significantly reduced service. We have been granted the pleasure of gifting a patient with a transformed smile for Christmas and even help our veterans in need of dental work. Our patients at Derby City Dental Specialists are joining us in our mission to support organizations working to create a happier world – one smile at a time.
